WWW Wednesday (18)

To play along, just answer the following three (3) questions…

• What are you currently reading?

• What did you recently finish reading?

• What do you think you’ll read next?

Product Details

01. Currently Reading:
Fool for Love (The McCarthys of Gansett Island #2) by Marie Force. The sequel to Maid for Love which I reviewed a couple of months ago. Marie Force is an amazing story teller and I finally reached the point in my TBR where this book was waiting for me. Bring on a love story to kick off my September reading.

One Little Christmas Tree by The Curto Family and Rusty Fischer. This children's Christmas story will be the first of it's kind to be reviewed on The Coffee Pot. I'm excited to include children's books in my reviews, especially since I'm an Aunt now and must keep my eyes open for books to share with my nephew! :)

02. Recently Finished:
Pulled by A.L. Jackson. I started and finished this wonderful novel yesterday. Jackson tells a story about two people who've been apart and in love for nine years. Rehashing the past reveals that the reasons they separated were more complex than at first glance. Now they are searching for a way to be together again. Expect a review up today or tomorrow.

03. Reading Next:
Angelfall (Penryn & the End of Days) by Susan Ee. Released only last week, this novel follows the story of Penryn who is on a mission to find her sister after the apocalypse. Sounds like a book I won't be able to put down.

Teaser Tuesday (26)

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

Pulled (Kindle Loc. 1053-54)
 - A. L. Jackson

"My soul cried out for her. It had never stopped its search for her in nine years, and I could still feel her calling out for me."
