Bree is the main character of Coble's novel, though she shares the story with a few other minor characters. Readers will absolutely love and respect Bree's strength in her time of weakness as she struggles to let go of her husband and son who disappeared one year ago. Her desire to find the wreckage and give her family a proper burial has been her obsession, though it's diminishing her faith in God and in herself. Readers will relate to the struggle Bree journeys through as the framework can be applied to many different situations.
Aligned with the emotional turmoil Bree is working through, there's also a deadly plot that may lead Bree to question her family's plane crash.
