Summer Vacation

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Coffee Pot Review has been on summer vacation with so much happening in the last couple of months! (Including finishing up grad school!) Reviews and such should be getting back to normal this fall. Can't wait to dive back into all my reading lists.

Hope everyone had a great summer of reading!

WWW Wednesday (185)

To play along just answer these three questions:

What are you currently reading?

What have you recently finished?

What are you reading next?

01. Currently Reading:
Celluloid by Holly Curtis. Still working on this novel about saving an old neighborhood theatre. I'm really enjoying these characters. They're quirky and a little off their hinges.

02. Recently Finished:
No recently completed novels.

03. Reading Next:
Either rereading Afternoon by Robert Lampros or continuing on with the review list and reading Poisoned Apple by Katherine McIntyre. I need to get both of these done quickly! Don't want to start the new year off more behind than I already am. The life of a book reviewer --- there just isn't enough time.

WWW-Wednesday (4)

To play along, just answer the following three (3) questions…
• What are you currently reading?
• What did you recently finish reading?
• What do you think you’ll read next?

01. Currently Reading:
Still working my way through A Dance With Dragons by George R.R. Martin. The story is wonderful but the length is what's forcing me to really slow down and pay attention. Which is why other books that I plan on reading are becoming simultaneous reads.

02. Recently Finished:
Once Bitten by Trina M. Lee and I just posted the review. This novel was deathly entertaining! I'm glad that I picked it up even though I was a little disappointed. Still a great read!

03. Reading Next:
Duplicity by Nikki Jefford is the next on my reading list. I read book one, Entangled, last week and since the second one came out a couple of days ago I'm determined to finish it off too.

Thank You to VMS Coffee

I received a sample of VMS Coffee, "The Original,"  in the mail as a gift from the company and just wanted to share the excitement! It is beyond delicious, smooth with a great simple flavor coffee drinkers will love.

This is a new company based in Florida and I have no doubt my new friends would love to ship you your own delicious bag! They try to ensure every order is delivered on the following Friday, so that your weekend, spent curled up with a great book, will have a great cup of coffee to go with it. :D

Teaser Tuesday (9)

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

Fifty Shades of Grey (p.128)

                - E.L. James
He gently pulled my pigtail.
"I love these," he whispers. "They won't protect you."

WWW-Wednesday (1)

To play along, just answer the following three (3) questions…

• What are you currently reading?
• What did you recently finish reading?
• What do you think you’ll read next?

01. Currently Reading:
A Feast for Crows by George R.R. Martin and I'm absolutely loving it! This is the fourth book in the Song of Fire and Ice series that I'm reading for Spring Into Reading 2012 hosted by Callippider Days.
02. Recently Finished:
Love in the Afternoon by Lisa Kleypas, and I'm sad that it was the last novel in the Hathaway series. But on the bright side, I didn't start with book one so perhaps I'll read that one soon!

03. Reading Next:
I honestly don't know. :) My to-be-read list is actually finished. A trip to the bookstore (and some teaser tuesday posts) is definitely in order so I can stock it up again! Suggestions are welcome! :D
